Biography:

Brandon was an outstanding athlete at Clements High School in Sugar Land. Twice he was named first-team all-district and team MVP, and he set the school single-season home run record with 12 his junior year. For his career, Brandon hit 20 home runs and drove in 85 while stealing 40 bases. He played wide receiver on the football team that went to the state quarterfinals his junior season.

He was very involved in the community during high school, volunteering with Habitat for Humanity, Young Life and Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

Brandon saw some playing time with Texas A&M in 2010 as a true freshman. He hit .215 in 36 games (15 starts), scored 12 runs and drove in seven and stole five bases in six tries.
