Biography:

Blake is expected to wreak havoc with his speed for the Pump Jacks in 2010. In his two seasons at Northeast Texas Community College, Blake stole 52 bases. He also homered three times and drove in 45 runs.

Before Northeast Texas, Blake played at Sulphur High School in Louisiana. He was an all-state centerfielder after hitting .500 with six home runs and 35 RBI as a senior. His senior baseball and football teams finished as state runners-up.

Blake moved on from Northeast Texas to play at McNeese State in 2010. He started 53 of 58 games and hit .300 with three triples and eight homers. He scored 51 runs. He also stole six bases for the Cowboys.
