Biography:

Jesse comes to the Pump Jacks with a history of success as a hitter. At Passaic Valley High School in New Jersey he hit .477 over his career with 13 home runs and 111 RBI. As a senior he hit an astounding .535. Jesse was a three-time first-team all-conference pick, the 2007 North Jersey Player of the Year, and first-team all-state. He was also named a second-team All-American.

After being passed up in the draft, Jesse went to Polk Community College in Florida, where he hit .305 with 18 RBI. He transferred to another junior college, Eastern Oklahoma State College, for his sophomore year and continued his torrid hitting. Jesse was named a NJCAA first-team All-American, along with Conference Player of the Year, after hitting .418 in 54 games with 15 two-baggers, four triples, 17 home runs and 79 runs batted in.

Jesse moved on to Mizzou, where he played the 2010 season with returning Pump Jack Russell LaFleur and new Pump Jack Blake Brown. For the Tigers, Jesse had 19 hits and 21 runs. He doubled eight times and drove in 15.
