Biography:

Chris, a native of Moline, Illinois, comes to the Pump Jacks after pitching two seasons at Chandler-Gilbert Community College in Arizona. At Chandler-Gilbert he pitched for current Pump Jacks pitching coach Robbie McClellan. As a freshman in 2009 Chris won three games and struck out 43 in 58.1 innings. He started nine games, with his best performance coming April 21 at Phoenix College. In that game he went all nine innings, striking out nine and walking one while allowing five hits and one run. Chris also had a complete game win at Glendale College in 2010, when he was a member of the starting rotation.

Chris has offers to continue his baseball career at NCAA Division 1 schools.

At Moline High school Chris lettered three times in both baseball and basketball. In both his junior and senior years the Quad Cities Dispatch-Argus named him their All-Metro Player of the Year. As a senior he was an honorable mention selection to the Chicago Tribune All-State team.
