Biography:

Brad comes to the Pump Jacks after a freshman year at prestigious Brown University of the Ivy League in which he tied for second on the team in appearances. He had a win in his 14 games (three starts) for the Bears and struck out 25 batters against just 11 walks. He also batted once on the season.

The 6’4” lefty played at Guyer High School in Denton, Texas. He was a four-year letterwinner at first base and pitcher and holds every school pitching record. As a senior in 2009 he led the team by hitting .436. He won 12 games with a 1.61 ERA while striking out 85 batters for the Wildcats. With those stats Brad was named the Denton Record-Chronicle All-Area Baseball team MVP, and he was unanimously voted the MVP in District 5-4A. He was also a second-team all-state pick and was named a starter for the North Texas High School Baseball Coaches Association All-Star Game.
