Biography:

A second-year Pump Jack, Dusty just completed his sophomore season at Vernon College, a junior college in Wichita Falls. In 2010 he led the team in innings with 74.1 over 21 appearances. Dusty struck out 53 batters and won three games for the Chaparrals. In his second game of the season, February 5 against Galveston, Dusty went seven shutout innings, allowing three hits and three walks and whiffing eight. For Vernon College in 2009, Dusty started eight games, pitching 56 innings and striking out 52.

Having completed his two years at Vernon College, Dusty is being pursued by different Big-12 schools.

At Iowa Park High School, Dusty was named to the all-district and all-state teams his senior year.

With the Pump Jacks in the summer of 2009, Dusty had a win and a loss in six games while striking out a batter an inning.
